I have the FS820 and FS830. I also have the FG5 Red Label. The less expensive 800s are excellent guitars that you can make minor upgrades (tuners, nut and bridge). Sweet guitars!

The Epiphone Hummingbird I'm looking at from G.C. looks like a actual Gibson Hummingbird from the 60's with its sunburst or tobacco burst finish ,Hummingbird pick guard ,Fishman pickups 2023-24 year model. They've got both the Epiphone Hummingbird Pro acoustic/Electric which runs about $400 on sale at G.C. for a couple more days anyway & they have another model thats the Epiphone Hummingbird Gibson comparison thats also on sale for either 7 or $800 also @ G.C. made in comparison to the Actual Gibson model. Both have the legendary Hummingbird pick guard. I'm also looking at the Epiphone Limited Edition 'Dove' w it's legendary pick guard design w the white dove & also the Gibson/Epiphone Dove mustache style bridge w the doves at each end of the bridge. All are beautiful & sound great!

The LL6 A.R.E is indeed laminated, but it has better lows and highs than the LL16 A.R.E. The LL16 has a higher mid-range and not as well pronounced highs and lows as the LL6. I've played them both and settled on the LL6. It sounds better for finger-picking.

those also don’t come in hardtail, or atleast they don’t anymore, that might be really rare

What is the going cost for a set up? I just came home with a 214ce and I'm thinking a set up would help. I bought a set of Elixir 13s. Are they going to be too heavy for that guitar?

It doesn’t need intonation. No movable bridge.And Phillips head screws didn’t exist until 1954 anyway. I just bought a 51 reissue no-caster. Awesome guitars. Go out a buy one you critics. ❤this work horse

why don't more shops set up their guitars like this, so it's ready to play when the costumer plays it.. my local chain shop doesn't set up anything they are as is.. & charge like 200 bucks just to do the neck & the intonation thing , all stuff I could do myself.. I think it's more likely to sell if it's already done without a charge & it sounds good in the hand.. sorta like cars more likely to sell if they are tuned up even if used..
